Meet Daltson Atwell

Daltson Atwell’s story isn’t about shortcuts or political connections—it’s about grit, responsibility, and building something real.

When the Great Recession hit, his family lost their home and his stepfather lost his job. Like many, he learned early that security isn’t given—it’s earned.

After high school, he invested everything he had into a single trailer to start Stone Yard Landscape Center in Birch Run. What followed wasn’t overnight success, but years of long days, hard lessons, and steady growth—building a business the right way.

Built to Support Families

Today, Stone Yard Landscape Center is more than a business—it supports families, strengthens the local economy, and reflects a belief that success means giving back.

Running it has given Daltson firsthand experience with what Mid-Michigan families and employers face: rising costs, burdensome regulations, and a government too far removed from real life.

That’s why he’s running for State Senate.

Grounded in Work and Responsibility

Daltson believes in discipline, service, and pushing himself—holding a CDL-A license and pursuing his pilot’s license.

He’s an avid fisherman, a responsible gun owner, and a proud father who wants a stronger future for the next generation.

He’s not running to be a career politician—he’s running to bring real-world experience and working-class common sense to Lansing.
